The lack of buzz around the team, even in Houston, is a factor. But he wasnt exactly snubbed. He just wasnt chosen for the team.
Lowry has played well, on par with the top point guards in the Western Conference, but he wouldn’t even argue with you that he deserves to be in the All-Star Game more than than Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Tony Parker or Russell Westbrook. Those guys are playing well, and they are players fans want to see.

(Everton, AR)–The Arkansas Department of Health is issuing some tips after a bull dies of rabies.
It happened near Everton in Boone County earlier this week.
Officials in Arkansas say rabies in most often found in skunks.
A rabid skunk was discovered in January on property adjacent to the farm on which the rabid bull became ill and died
Rabies is a virus that attacks the brain and spinal cord and is a fatal disease.
To protect against rabies, health officials say make certain your animals are up-to-date on vaccinations.
Do not feed or touch wild animals.
Keep your pets indoors overnight.

Park County has more homeless pets than willing adopters. Many of the cats and dogs filling local animal shelters would make good companions, but often times, they must wait weeks, months — or years, in rare cases — before going to a new home.
Both Powell and Cody have no-kill animal shelters, so cats and dogs wait as long as it takes until they’re adopted. While we’re glad animals’ lives are spared, it’s a costly commitment.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, February 02, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ — A recent report by the FSA sought to tackle the problem of people defaulting – whether through knowingly overextending themselves or being mis sold a mortgage – ahead of any new housing boom in the coming years. While the FSA has stated that bad lending has almost disappeared now, they admit this is due to lenders tightening up their criteria in the difficult economic conditions rather than homebuyers voluntarily seeking to rein in their borrowing habits.

San Antonio business owner Mike McLean is worried about next year.
McLean is afraid his office construction business will be turned down for a loan and that 100 subcontractors for which he provides jobs will have to look elsewhere for work.
His lender wants to keep financing McLeans construction projects, but it may not be able to under current law. McLeans lender is Firstmark Credit Union. Credit unions, known mostly for car loans, are limited by federal law on the volume of commercial loans to just 12.25 percent of assets.

Nebraska and Iowa will likely see a relatively small impact from the $25 billion settlement with banks over foreclosure abuses because the housing crisis has not hit the Midlands as hard as it has many other states.

Do you just get those days with your animals when you wonder why you bother? The other day I looked my dogs and figured it was time for a bath. So once I lured them into the bathroom I lifted them into the bath (yes lifted!). My dogs love water but the second you actually put them anywhere near a bath, thats a different story. The furlong face is so funny you cant help but smile!
Anyway I started to wash them with our nice oatmeal shampoo, and the dogs came out the other end relatively dry, just a few shakes for fun. Once out they were dried down, which they absolutely love, and, hey presto, I have two great-looking dogs.
