Its been a day chock full of Spartacus news!
First Starz released the first pictures of Liam McIntyre in the title role of the new series, Spartacus: Vengeance, set to air in early 2012 and now, we have found out that they have cast for the role of an impressive new female gladiator.
TV Guide report that not only will the woman be a vicious competitor for her male counterparts, but she may also be a bit of a love interest for Spartacus himself.
